Does Dark Alliance have Manual Saving?

Dark Alliance does not have manual saving and will instead autosave whenever you take a short rest when you are in a mission or when you return to the base camp.

How to Save Progress

Return to Camp

How to Save Progress
1 Dark Alliance Return to Camp Save 01
Finish the Act by defeating the Final Boss or Bosses.
2 Dark Alliance Return to Camp Save 02
The Rewards screen will pop up after completing the act. You can skip this to quickly return to Kelvin's Cairn.
3 Dark Alliance Return to Camp Save Final
Your progress will have successfully saved.

Take A Short Rest

How to save Progress
1 Dark Alliance - Short Rest Save 03
Enter a combat area and defeat all enemies.
2 Dark Alliance Short Rest Save 02
Choose the Take Short Rest option.
3 Dark Alliance Short Rest Save Final
You'll have saved your progress and set this as a checkpoint. Dying will respawn you here.
IMPORTANT: This only saves the progress made in your current game session. Quitting the game will reset the progress you have made and you'll start back at base camp.

If you choose not to use a Short Rest, you will still have saved your progress and kept all obtained loot but will start from the level's beginning. Make sure to only take a short rest if necessary.
