List of Contents
Stamina is represented by the green bar on the top-left side of your screen. It is reduced not only by moves and basic attacks, but also by abilities or spells. This makes it a vital factor to consider during combat since most actions are based around it.
When doing Fierce Attacks or special moves, your maximum stamina permanently depletes for the rest of a level. This reduction is represented by a white marker that caps a portion of the meter off, rendering that portion unusable.
When this meter is empty, your movements will be sluggish and your attacks will be slow and ineffective.
Get some distance from enemies before waiting to restore stamina
The simplest way to regain lost stamina is by waiting a few seconds for the meter to fill back up. Once you notice your stamina getting low during a fight, use your Evade button to get away from enemies and catch your breath.
Slain enemies will also sometimes drop green stamina fragments that you can pick up.
You can also buy potions from the Merchant, but it's best to only use them for restoring your stamina back to max.
The main way to restore your stamina back to its max amount is by consuming the Stamina Potion, which is purchasable at the Merchant. Be sure to constantly upgrade this potion. In its earlier levels, the potion may not be able to fully restore your stamina but will instead just raise the cap slightly.
Use Short Rests to both refill your Useables and to restore your stamina meter to full. But only use this in dire situations, such as when you have no more potions and your stamina has been capped extremely low. This is because you can just obtain potions from chests and the Higher Loot Rarity option should be prioritized.
You can Parry enemy attacks by tapping the block command right before an attack hits to restore stamina, but it will only be a small amount each time so try your best to master this!
Spending Attribute points on Constitution increases stamina amount.
