This is a guide on how to unlock more abilities in D&D: Dark Alliance. Read on to learn where you can unlock them, and how to equip them so you can make your character stronger!

What are Abilities?

Dark Alliance Equip Abilities

Abilities are spells you can use during combat to damage enemies or to support your allies. You can find your currently equipped Abilities in the Equip tab.

Each character begins with two Abilities, but can unlock more over the course of the game in the Moves tab. But unlike other Moves, they cannot be constantly used during a fight, since they are affected by a cooldown timer. They also have a button dedicated to them, while other Moves use combinations of the Light and Fierce Attack buttons.

Can You Upgrade Abilites?

Even though the Abilities seen in the Equip tab of the Character menu have level bars similar to Equipment, Abilities cannot be upgraded in any way.

Maybe the bars aren't supposed to be there in the first place or they're planning to make the abilities upgradeable in future updates.

One of Drizzt's locked Abilities

You'll need to be at least Level 7 to unlock additional Abilities, and will need to have unlocked the prerequisite skills connected to them in the Moves tab. Once you have acquired these and the necessary amount of gold, you can start unlocking them.

Keep in mind you can only have two Abilities at once, so weigh the pros and cons of each before deciding on which to use. Currently, there are two additional Abilities for each character to unlock.

You can tell which are the Abilities through their description. Unlike the other Moves, there are no button guides for using them.
