Players of Civilization VII (Civ 7) have encountered skills and attributes that have 'per Age' attached to the skill, providing the players with an increase of yields on different Resources and stats. Learn what 'per Age' means here, how it affects your turn-based Yields and more!

What is X Per Age?

Age Multiplier
Antiquity x 1
Exploration x 2
Modern x 3

Benefits, buffs, and Yields with 'per Age' attached to them gets a multiplier that is based on the Age when they are obtained, which increases by 1 with every Age transition.

Leader Skill Example Yield
Benjamin Franklin Gain +1 Science per Age for every Endeavor started +1/2/3 Science per turn while the Endeavor is active
Modern Age Endeavors give +3 Science per turn
Catherine the Great Gain +2 Culture for every displayed Great Work +2/4/6 Culture per turn from a displayed Great Work
Great works displayed in the Modern Age each give +6 Culture per turn

If players pick Benjamin Franklin as their leader, whose skill allows players to gain +1 Science per Age for every Endeavor started during that Age, starting an Endeavor during the Exploration Age will yield +2 Science while the Endeavor is active.

If players select Catherine the Great as their Leader, whose skill allows players to gain +2 Culture for every displayed Great Work, displaying 1 Great Work during the Exploration Age will yield +4 Culture and will continue to grow for every Great Work the players puts on display.
