Scouts Auto Explore

Scouts in Civilization VII (Civ 7) currently can't auto explore. Read on to see if scouts can auto explore and if the auto explore for the scouts is in the horizon for Civ 7.

Unfortunately, scouts can't auto explore in Civ 7. You need to manually give your Scouts a command for them to explore the map.

Is Auto Explore Coming Soon?

No News on Auto Explore Yet

Devs have released a statement saying that they're working on adding more Quality-of-Life updates for the game but this doesn't include auto explore on scouts.

Players remain hopeful though as the auto explore feature remains one of the highly requested feature for Civ 7. It's likely that the devs will add the feature in the future.

I am an old school Civ player and it was my favourite game since I bought my first computer back in 1987. Actually, the fact that 'auto explore' has not been included ruined my experience and I have no intent to play in the near future. Faraxis won't care because I already bought it so I feel a bit bitter. Someone wake me up when or if they do include it.
