When playing in the Antiquity Age, you may come across the Papyrus Problems Narrative Event.

The answer to this math problem is 19607. Choosing this option will reward you with +100 science.

The Solution is the Sum of Each Object

The correct way to answer this problem is to add the total number of objects in each section of the puzzle.

First, you have 7 objects to represent the 7 houses. Then, to represent the 7 cats in each of the 7 houses, you add 7 x 7 or 7^2 to 7.

Continue this sequence with the next set of items until you reach 7^5 or 7 x 7 x 7 x 7 x 7 for 7 gallons of cereal. Thus, the complete solution to the Papyrus Problems is 7^5 + 7^4 + 7^3 + 7^2 + 7.
