Civ7 - Quarters
Quarters are special buildings players can build on Urban titles that have unique effects depending on which Civilization you are currently playing. Learn what Quarters are, how to build them and all special Quarters here!

What Are Quarters?

Two Buildings On the Same Urban Tile

Civ 7 - Special Quarters
When two buildings that are Ageless or are from the same Age are built in the same Urban District, a Quarter is formed. These special tiles provide unique effects and are boosted through Policies or Leader abilities, and can be walled to boost the defense of a city.

Certain Civilizations have unique Buildings that form into a Unique Quarter, such as the Acropolis or Zócalo.

How to Unlock Unique Quarters

Civ 7 - Special Quarters Example

Unique Buildings and, subsequently, Unique Quarters can be unlocked through a Civilization's Civic Tree, usually locked on the first nodes. Make sure to prioritize them to be able to afford their buffs as soon as possible.

+1 Culture and Gold for every Unique Tradition in the Government
Created by constructing the Basilica and Temple of Jupiter in the same District
Five Hundred Lords
(Chola)
+5 Land Trade Route range and +15 Naval Trade Route range
Created by constructing the Anjuvannam and Manigramam in the same District
Ulema
(Abbasid)
+1 Science to all Specialists in this City
Created by constructing the Madrasa and Mosque in the same District

Accidentally built a bazaar with my Candi Bentar (Truc leader) is there any way to overbuild the bazaar for my Meru, to complete the unique district "Pura"?
