Adjacency Bonuses in Civilization 7 (Civ 7) are given to buildings instead of districts. Check out a list of Adjacency Bonuses, how to get and maximize these bonuses, as well as what Adjacency Bonuses are.
List of Contents
| Building Type | Required Adjacency |
|---|---|

Coasts Navigable Rivers Wonders |
| Culture Happiness |
Mountains Natural Wonders Wonders |
Each building type has their own corresponding Adjacency Bonus. When planning out the layout of your city, you'll want to organize your building placements in a way that maximizes the bonuses that they can get.
As a note, Warehouse Buildings don't get any adjacency bonuses so you'll want to position them next to your Palace while simultaneously avoiding tiles adjacent to ones that benefit your other Building types.
Every Civilization gets its own Unique Buildings which have their own requirements to get an Adjacency bonus. Make sure to read the requirements of each one so that you can properly plan out your building locations.

Unlike in Civ 6, Adjacency Bonuses in Civ 7 are now tied to individual buildings rather than entire districts. Each urban tile in Civ 7 now has two building slots, allowing you to mix and match building types.
The Adjacency Bonuses your buildings can get depend on the natural features and player-made structures surrounding them, like Wonders, Rivers, Mountains, and tiles with Resources to name a few.
You can maximize your buildings' Adjacency Bonuses by adding Specialists to Urban tiles. These Specialists not only provide base Science and Culture yields but also amplify the Adjacency Bonuses of their respective tiles.
Besides Specialists, you can also unlock Unique Civics and get Traditions to increase Adjacency Bonuses. Since these are Civ-specific, make sure you check what the exact bonuses are so you can plan your building placements.

Adjacency bonuses are additional yields, like Science and Culture, that your buildings can get based on their placement. You can increase these bonuses by strategically placing your buildings near natural and man-made features, and you can further boost these bonuses through certain Civics or by adding Specialists to your Urban tiles.
