Maurya and Maya top the Best Science Civs in the Antiquity Age with Russia finishing it in the Modern Age of Civilization VII (Civ 7)! Here's a list of the best Science Victory Civs and their advantages over other Civilizations.

Maurya Science Advantages
---
✔ Two Pantheons can be chosen after unlocking Mysticism, which you can use to pick Pantheons that provide Happiness and/or Science bonuses ✔ Specializing in Happiness counters the penalties of expanding quickly in the early game and maintaining Specialists ✔ Arthashastra tradition increases Science based on excess Happiness
Maurya's advantage in achieving a Scientific Victory comes from its ability to generate huge amounts of Happiness through its unique Civics, Buildings, and Units then unlocking the Arthashastra Tradition to add Science yields from excess Happiness.
This ability also allows you to add Settlements a bit over the cap without worrying much about the Happiness penalty.
Maurya also incentivizes investing on Military buildings early to defend your Settlements or force an expansion as they can provide Happiness after unlocking the Kshatriya Tradition.

Maya Science Advantages
---
✔ Tons of Science adjacency bonuses from Vegetated tiles ✔ Earn Culture and Production by researching Technologies
Maya maximizes its Science output by settling near Vegetated tiles, which is conveniently one of its starting biases. Its unique ability grants the Palace itself Science adjacency bonus from Vegetated tiles, giving Maya a good head start in the Tech tree just by settling the Capital next to said tiles.
In addition to the Science adjacency bonuses, unlocking the Pet Kot Tradition adds Science to the base yield of all Vegetated tiles within its Cities' reach. Just be sure not to remove Vegetated tiles and be careful not to overbuild Districts on these tiles!

Abbasid Science Advantages
---
✔ Gain more Science on Buildings adjacent to the Palace and Town Halls with the City of Peace Tradition ✔ Madrasa gives more Science for every Quarters and Science Buildings adjacent to it ✔ Receive Science from Trading
As a scientific Civ, Abbasid gets most of its Science yields from its unique Civics and Buildings, like giving more Science in Resources assigned to Cities and increasing the Science yield of Specialists.
What makes Abbasid one of the best Science Civs in the Exploration Age is how it can easily reach the first milestone in the Science Legacy Path by increasing the yields of its Districts through adjacency bonuses.

Ming Science Advantages
---
✔ Unique Science bonuses are all acquired from Civics ✔ Can increase Science yield per assigned Resources and increase Resource limit ✔ In addition to Gold, creating roads with a Mandarin also provide Science with the Da Ming Lu Civic
Ming China is a relatively easy Civ to use for a Science Victory as most of its Science bonuses come from Civics and can only be further enhanced by planning for adjacency bonuses.
After unlocking the associated Civics, you will start receiving additional Science by simply having Gold Buildings and Resources assigned to Cities.
These Science bonuses gives Ming an advantage in researching Education quickly for the early extra Specialist slots. However, you still need to plan ahead for your Specialists to easily hit the required number of yields for the first Scientific Legacy milestone.

Russia Science Advantages
---
✔ Huge Production increase from the Emancipation Reform Tradition ✔ Increase Science generation with the Westernization Tradition
The advantages of Russia in a Science Victory is simple and direct, obtained in the form of Traditions, and provide both the required resources in achieving the milestones in the Modern Science Legacy Path—Science and Production.
The drawback from these Traditions is that they come with side effects, with Emancipation Reform slowing down City Growth and the Westernization decreasing Culture in Cities.
The good thing is, since they're Traditions, you can choose to slot them into your Social Policy slots whenever you need, such as rushing a Tech research (requires Science) or a Space Project (requires Production).
Russia Civilization and Best Leader

America Science Advantages
---
✔ Unique Buildings provide increased Production ✔ Receive bonus Production from Resources through the Captains of Industry Civic
Despite not being a scientific Civ, America can still be a competition in the Space Race due to its advantage in Production bonuses. The Civ will struggle in researching the necessary Techs due to its lack in Science bonuses, but can quickly catch up with constructing an Aerodome and completing the Space Race projects.
