Civ 7 Victory Conditions and Types

For each milestone you complete, you earn Legacy Points. You can use these points to buy Legacies, which carry over to the next age.

Completing at least one Legacy Path triggers the Golden Age, which provides more options for legacies before moving to the next age.

The Cultural Legacy Path has a set of challenges focused on raising fame or researching civics. This includes displaying relics in your settlements, for example, to gain fame.

The Economic Legacy Path has a set of challenges related to improving your civilization's economy. Some of these challenges include researching Cartography and Astronomy to navigate dangerous terrains and unlock more trade routes.

The Military Legacy Path consists of challenges that mainly involve brute force and territorial expansion. One example of a challenge is building more settlements.

The Science Legacy Path has challenges focused on technological advancement. One example of a challenge is researching Education under the Tech Tree.
