Yasaki no Magatama Reach Level 9 with Himiko (Queen of Wa)
Description
+2 Science per Age for every Technology Mastery completed
Yasaki no Magatama Explanations
・Completing Tech Masteries gives you a huge head start in the next Ages
・Speeds up research of the remaining Tech Masteries and the Future Tech

Yasaki no Magatama gives you additional Science per Age every time you research a Mastery. This is extremely useful, especially for those aiming to complete the Science Legacy Path in the Antiquity Age as the completed Masteries will increase their starting Science in the next Ages.

Great Imperial Crown

Memento How to Unlock
Great Imperial Crown Reach Level 9 with Catherine the Great
Description
Cities gain +5% Science per Great Work on display (Max 25%)
Great Imperial Crown Explanations
・Useful if you're progressing both Science and Culture Legacy Paths
・Enhances cities with buildings with Great Work slots

The Great Imperial Crown Memento is a great choice if you're aiming for a Science Victory while also doing the Culture Legacy Paths on the side.

Great Works are always part of a Legacy Path in the first three Ages and progressing them by collecting more Great Works with this Memento equipped increases your Science output even more.

Glass Armonica

Memento How to Unlock
Glass Armonica Reach Level 9 with Benjamin Franklin
Description
10% Science and Happiness when in an Alliance for you and ally
Glass Armonica Explanations
・Science and Happiness boost for Diplomatic Leaders and Civs
・Bonuses increase for each Alliance you can maintain

Even if you're not aiming for a Science Victory, the Glass Armonica is still a good choice for Diplomatic Leaders as they can start and support Endeavors more than the rest.

The 10% Science and Happiness boost might also take effect on your ally, but you will benefit more if you can make an Alliance with more than one Leader.

Kite & Key

Memento How to Unlock
Kite & Key Reach Level 5 with Benjamin Franklin
Description
+10% Science towards researching Tech Masteries
Kite & Key Explanations
・Passives from Tech Masteries are very useful and must be obtained as soon as possible
・Makes it easier to get the Golden Age for the Antiquity Science Path
・Pairs well with the Yasaki no Magatama Memento

You'd want to spend Science on Tech Masteries after researching all the Technologies that you need to further enhance your buildings and units. By having the Kite & Key Memento on top of your already high Science per turn, you will get these bonuses earlier than other Leaders.

The Analects

Memento How to Unlock
The Analects Reach Level 9 with Confucius
Description
+1 Science per Specialist
The Analects Explanations
・Best for Expansionist Leaders and Civs as they can produce Specialists fast
・Pairs well with the Brush & Scroll Memento

Specialists are produced in cities through Growth Events, which can trigger frequently with high Food per turn and/or Growth Rate. These are what most Expansionist Leaders and Civs excel at. With The Analcets Memento, they can get even more Science, among other yields, by using Growth Events to add Specialists.

Brush & Scroll

Memento How to Unlock
Brush & Scroll Reach Level 2 with Confucius
Description
+5% Growth Rate in Cities for every Specialist in that City (Max 25%)
Brush & Scroll Explanations
・Adding Specialists in a city lets you get the next one sooner
・Makes it easier to complete the Exploration Age Science Legacy Path
・Pairs well with The Analects Memento

An Urban District gets added Science and Culture from Specialists as their base effect, which makes them crucial in boosting the yields of a single tile, especially in the late game where you'll eventually run out of tiles to expand to.

Equipping the Brush & Scroll Memento increases the frequency of Growth Events with the first 5 Specialists placed in each city, allowing you to populate them quickly and place even more Specialists to add Science in Urban Districts.
