No, There's No Preload for PC or Steam
Unfortunately, preload isn't available for PC or Steam players. Civ 7 on PC or Steam only becomes available for download once it's been released on the platform.
When Does Civ 7 Preload Start?
Preload Now Available for Consoles
Players who have purchased the game on consoles can now preload the game! Be sure to have it ready before release so you can play it right away.
Get Early Access from Deluxe and Founders Editions
Those who pre-purchase the Digital Deluxe and Founders Editions will be able to play the game in early access on February 6th, 2025. Early access for the physical copies of the Deluxe Edition is only available on select stores.
