Requires the Violet Hail Item

You need to talk to Daoist Mi first, which will trigger a cutscene. Then, you need to obtain the Violet Hail key item by killing nearby enemies. The item will drop from a random enemy, so just keep killing them until you obtain it.

Once you obtained the Violet Hail, deliver it to Daoist Mi, which will trigger another cutscene. After the cutscene, the fight will begin.

Fight Him Before Entering the Duskveil's Boss Arena

Black Myth Wukong - The Duskveil
You'll want to make sure that you fight Daoist Mi before facing the final boss of the Secret Area. If you skip him and start the battle with The Duskveil, he will disappear and you won't be able to get his drops and rewards.

If you missed this boss, then you'll need to wait until New Game+ to fight him.
