Pull for Baldr and Höðr!
Both Baldr and Höðr redefine Aether Raids Defense by destroying Safety Fence (O) after the first combat, putting an end to the ever-present Lyn Ballista and Sakura Hit and Run compositions that plagued the game mode.
On top of their Safety Fence destruction abilities, they are also excellent units. Baldr herself is perhaps one of the bulkiest units in the entire game, with multiple true damage reduction effects and increased potency against non-Blue foes making her incredibly difficult to damage, let alone defeat. Höðr is an excellent support unit, providing valuable buffs and debuffs from a distance, ensuring her usefulness at any point throughout the entire battle.

If you play competitive Aether Raids, then both Baldr and Höðr are must-summon units. Their ability to destroy Safety Fence (O) directly counters common offense strategies that trivialize the game mode entirely, requiring players to now play carefully rather than mindlessly clicking enemies and nuking them without fear of retaliation due to the overpowered Safety Fence Lv. 2.
If you do not play competitive Aether Raids, we still recommend summoning for Baldr specifically, as she is incredibly powerful and one of the best Sword units in the entire game. She has a different role compared to Legendary Black Knight, but she will excel at pretty much anything barring combat against powerful Blue foes or invested heavy nuke units.
