The best IVs for Hana are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Hana to prevent follow-up attacks and help her make follow-up attacks on her own. This boosts both her offensive and survivability capabilities. With her mediocre Res stat, it is ideal for her bane stat.

How to Use, Explanation

This build relies on rapid Glimmer activations for Hana to deal lots of damage. Thanks to Life and Death 4, not only is her offenses maximized, but it will most probably only take 1 counterattack for her to reach Wrath 3 range. Wrath speeds-up Special activations alongside with Flashing Blade 3. Wrath also increases the damage she deals with Glimmer. You can use any Special, and the C slot is very flexible.

How to Use, Explanation

This build aims to maximize Hana's Special damage by through Wo Dao+. Fury 4 gives some valuable stats and helps activate Desperation 3. The C and Seal slots are very flexible.

How to Use, Explanation

This build aims to maximize Arena scoring and power by inheriting premium fodder to Hana. This is mainly designed for fully-merged Hana copies that also have Dragonflower stats under her belt. At that point, Hana would be able to take a beating in the enemy phase because of the surplus of stats. Because Distant Counter is taken, she will be able to return fire with the help of Kestrel Stance 2 Sacred Seal. Spurn 3 leverages her great dual-phase Spd stat to reduce lots of damage. Aether helps with scoring and sustain, and Threat. Atk/Spd 3 is a great scoring skill that gives Hana more damage reduction and damage when triggered properly.

We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Hana's Katana

Upgrading Hana's Katana with the Special Effect Upgrade essentially makes it a better version of Armorslayer+. While the weapon already was effective on armored foes, it will gain the added effect of Atk/Spd+4 when initiating combat. This makes Hana a better attack phase unit all around, even if the foe is not an armored one.

Hana's Strengths

Powerful Exclusive Weapon

Hana's exclusive weapon, Hana's Katana is effective against armored units, has 16 Mt and its special refinement gives Hana + 4 Atk/Spd bonus whenever she initiates combat. The effect is similar to Swift Sparrow 2, another powerful skill. This lets her get easier follow-up attacks, which makes her a great counter to powerful low Spd units like Idunn who can be tough to deal with in Aether Raids and Arena.

Can max out her offensive stats

Hana has the skill Life and Death, which grants Atk/Spd +5 and inflicts Def/Res -5. While this will severely affect her defensive capability, this skill can be crucial for high damaging attacks in the player phase.

Hana's Weaknesses

Extremely Fragile

Hana has low Def and Res because of her natural build and due to the effects of Life and Death 3. If you don't pay attention to Hana's positioning during the enemy phase, she will most likely be taken out. Her job is to one-shot enemies and get out of the danger zone through support skills like Sing or Dance, or positioning skills like Drag Back or Reposition.
