Res (5) | ★☆☆☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Soleil are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Soleil to get a ton of follow-up attacks on her foes which is very important for Firewsweepers. Her Res is of less importance so it is safe to take it as a bane.

A simple budget build for Soleil. Take note that Soleil's Shine is a Sweep weapon. By wielding it, she cannot counterattack, but so can't her foe.

This build uses refined Soleil's Shine to attack with accelerated Special cooldown charges without fear of retaliation. Time's Pulse 3 lowers the Special charge by 1, and Null Follow-Up 3 to turn combat into a Spd check ensures that Soleil activates Galeforce assuming she attacks her foe twice.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |
---|---|
SP: 400 | |
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: 3 Unit and foe cannot counterattack. If unit initiates combat, grants Atk/Spd+5 and Special cooldown charge +1 per unit's attack during combat. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.) :500 :200 |
|
Soleil's Shine is an upgraded Firesweep Sword+ and upgrading it with the special effect refine provides the best bonuses compared to the other refine options.
The Atk/Spd+5 bonus is great, but what really sets the special effect refine apart is the accelerated Special cooldown charge per unit's attack.
This effect allows Soleil to quickly charge up her Special without retaliation!

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Soleil is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Soleil has naturally high Atk and Spd, which makes her a very deadly offensive unit. With these stats, she makes for a good wielder of her Soleil's Shine which allows her to take out a wide range of units without taking damage. If coupled with the right allies and skills, Soleil can even take out a number of blue units.
Soleil's Shine makes Soleil a formidable player phase unit as it prevents enemies from scoring counterattacks against her. Combined with her high Spd and Darting Blow 3, she can eliminate a wide range of units in the player phase without taking damage. The downside to this is that she too can not score counterattacks on enemies. This is not too crippling as with awareness and strategy, you can turn Soleil into a player phase attacker that can easily sweep enemy teams.
Darting Blow 3 grants Soleil +6 Spd whenever she initiates attacks. Coupled with Soleil's high Spd, she can execute follow-up attacks on many enemy units during the player phase.
As stated, the downside of Soleil's Shine is that she cannot score counterattacks. This can easily be made up for through strategy. Avoid leaving Soleil in the danger zone as she is a sitting duck in the enemy phase. The only reason why you should leave Soleil in the danger zone is for taking a hit for an ally whose survival is more important at the given situation.

There you are! Thanks for always taking the time to chat with me. What do you say to a date this time? Hah! I’m just kidding. I know you’re way too busy with your Order of Heroes business. It’s a bit embarrassing to put it into words, but watching you work so hard is a real pleasure. Maybe that sounded a little forward... I just think you look cool when you work so hard to help everybody. You’re kind of like a coolness role model for me, so keep it up! But if you ever want to let me have you all to myself, let me know. I’ll scout out a great café just for us! |
