When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Peri are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Peri to get a ton of follow-up attacks on her foes. It also helps her defend against follow-up attacks from foes! Taking a bane in Res would balance her stats which is ideal for survival so it is the best bane she can take. Though you should aim for that 1st merge as soon as possible as Peri is quite a common unit and taking the bane off her would be very helpful.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Peri to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. At that point, she will reach 40 Spd, which is definitely not at an elite level, but it is in a pretty good level nonetheless. She may need support from allies to be able to score follow-up attacks on faster foes.

How to Use, Explanation

This build uses Draconic Aura instead of Galeforce to get key KOs quickly with the aid of Heavy Blade seal. Fury and Desperation is a tried and true combo to perform consecutive attacks.

How to Use, Explanation

We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Peri's Lance

It is a pretty straightforward +4 buff to all stats! The trigger condition is amazingly easy to meet as well. We recommend inheriting Fury 3 or Fury 4 onto Peri to make it easy for her to meet the trigger condition. This special effect refine combined with Fury turns Peri into a very stat-dense unit!

Peri is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Peri Strengths

Peri's Lance speeds-up special activation

Peri's weapon is Peri's Lance, an upgraded version of Killer Lance+. It puts Glimmer to a cooldown of 1. This increases Peri's damage by allowing for rapid activation of the said special skill.

Take note that it has 16 Mt versus Killer Lance+'s 11 Mt so saying the former is an upgraded version of the latter is an understatement. Additionally, it has access to a special effect refine discussed below!

Access to a simple yet effective special effect refine

Peri's Lance has an upgrade that grants +4 to all stats. The trigger condition is just to be at less than 100% HP so it can be kept online most of the time. Read more about it at the weapon refine section!

It is pretty simple, but no one can say +4 to all stats is a useless thing to have especially given its simple trigger condition.

Possesses a Def debuff!

Threaten Def 3 inflicts -5 Def on foes within 2 spaces of Peri at the start of each turn. This will be crippling to enemy units Peri is able to score a follow-up attack on them while the special effect refine is online.

Because of the modest AoE, it can be easily applied to multiple foes especially taking into consideration Peri's great mobility. It is also great in maps containing a lot of foes like Rival Domains.

Peri Weaknesses

Low Def

Peri's Def only sits at 23 at Lv.40. This makes it easy for physical units to take her out. Be mindful of Peri's positioning in relation to physical units that can easily take her out.

Weak to Cavalry Effective Weapons

Peri takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Ridersbane, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
