+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Mia are +Spd and -Res. Her kit and special weapon refine are designed to increase Mia's damage output when her Spd is very high. This makes Spd a very important stat for her and thus a +IV for is a no-brainer. Her Res is of less importance for her so it is safe to take it as a bane.

How to Use, Explanation

This build possesses lots of flat, pure damage that cannot be reduced by Def! Supposing you activate the Special, and max out the Spd check from Resolute Blade, said weapon and Wrath 3 will combine for 27 flat, pure damage! The SS slot is very flexible as long as it helps Mia max out the Spd check. If you have more budget, you can go for Joint Drive Atk in the C slot, and go for Blue Flame in the Special slot. They are compatible together, and Blue Flame can add 25 more flat damage!

We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Resolute Blade

Resolute Blade's special effect refine deals bonus damage if Mia's Spd is more than her foes. The bonus damage is calculated by 70% of the difference in Spd. This maxes out at +7 damage, but it is pure damage meaning that it cannot be reduced by the foe's stats or color attribute advantage. Additionally, if Mia is able to get a follow-up attack, this bonus damage is applied again. This means that this effect has a potential of dealing +14 pure damage.

This effect is compatible with the Phantom Spd Sacred Seal that treats Mia as if she has +10 Spd whenever there is a Spd check.

Mia is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Mia Strengths

Possesses and Upgraded Wo Dao

Resolute Blade is similar to Wo Dao as it also grants +10 pure damage whenever Mia's special triggers. However, it provides +16 Mt and +3 Atk instead of Wo Dao's + 9 Mt. These values put it above Wo Dao+ which is also an upgrade from Wo Dao. Resolute Blade's raw power allows Mia to focus on increasing her Spd allowing for follow-up attacks from this heavy-hitting weapon.

Resolute Blade's Synergy with Flashing Blade 3

Flashing Blade 3 speeds up Mia's special cooldown charge if her Spd is at least equal or more than the her enemies'. This has great synergy with Resolute Blade as it allows Mia to deal a lot of damage through her specials. This synergy justifies a +Spd IV for Mia as she wants to stack the most Spd possible. Additionally, her Spd score her follow-up attacks that not only means more damage, but faster special charging as well. If that was not enough justification for Mia to stack as much Spd as she can, Resolute Blade's special refine deals bonus damage based on how much more Spd Mia has over her opponent.

Mia Weaknesses

Countered by Swordbreaker

Swordbreaker 3 guarantees a follow-up attack against Mia if the foe is equal to or above 50% HP. It also prevents her from scoring follow-up attacks on Swordbreaker wielders. This cuts her effectiveness by a lot since the stat that she stacks most, Spd, becomes useless.

No follow-up attacks means less attacks and slower special charging time by extension.This leads to significantly less damage overall for Mia.
