What are Automatons?

Gizmos with Powerful Effects

Automatons are gizmos with special functions that vastly differentiates itself from Echoes. These are crafted by Engineer Dampe, a recurring character in the series who was a gravekeeper in the previous titles.

How to Use Automatons

Select an Automaton with the Left D-Pad

Players can toggle to summon an automaton with the Left D-Pad button. Hold the Left D-Pad to switch the automaton to be summoned.

Turn the Wind-Up Key

According to the Into the Still World Trailer, automatons can be activated by winding up its key. It has been shown that some automatons perform its special function after being thrown and/or while being held overhead.

Automaton	Effect
*Octorok	Continuously unleashes fireworks projectiles that inflict burn.
*Tektite	Launches itself like a rocket when thrown, damaging surrounding enemies from the launch point.
*Zol	Summons lingering sound bubbles that disappears and inflicts damage upon contact.
