The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (EoW) introduces new and familiar characters! Get to know the characters that Zelda will meet throughout her journey in this guide.

Our favorite heroine will now take the stage and save Hyrule once again! Princess Zelda is the main protagonist of the story who will traverse the mysterious rifts with the help of Echoes and the various Abilities she will unlock.
The mysterious fairy Tri joins Princess Zelda in her quest! Tri will share her powers and the Tri Rod to help Zelda in her adventure in and out of the rifts.
Link was briefly shown in what seems to be the game's prologue where he fought Ganon. However, he was swallowed by the rift before successfully breaking the crystal that imprisons Zelda.
Based on the trailers, it is likely that Link will be playable in the beginning and might be encountered again in an unexpected reunion later in the story.
Ganon was also shown in the trailer in his original boar form fighting Link. What's quite odd about this encounter is that he had red eyes and a dark aura, which makes it possible that something else is in control.
