Daily Legend Races are expected to begin on March 26, 2026 (UTC) during Part 4 of the 1st Anniversary events of the Global version. Above is the expected starting pool of available Umamusume to challenge in the Daily Legend Races.
Following release patterns in JP, new Umamusume will be added to the pool on every half-anniversary and anniversary event. Originally, that was every 6 months in the JP version. For the Global version, we can expect the Daily Legend Race pool updates around every 4 months with the accelerated pacing.

When sending a veteran to compete in the Daily Legend Races, a recommended minimum would be one with at least an A+ Rating. Focus on trying to hit 1200 Speed stat at least, meeting stamina requirements, and then the rest can follow. Completing good runs in the Trackblazer (MANT) Scenario will usually give you a veteran with S Rating or higher.
Alternatively, you can also train Umamusume still in the Unity Cup Scenario, where you can also get A+ Rating Umamusume. Though, this is less recommended since Trackblazer potentially lets you build strong veterans up to even UG Rating, along with it also letting you gain a lot of skills.

Race tracks for the Daily Legend Races will depend on the Umamusume your veteran will be competing against. Make sure that your veteran has enough stamina to survive these distances, since lacking in it will have a more noticeable effect on your veteran's performance than lacking speed or power.

Gold Recovery Skills are recommended for both Medium and Long races. Aim for consistently activating gold recovery skills that can activate in the mid-race, notably Swinging Maestro, style-specific ones like Gourmand, or distance-specific ones like Cooldown.
Aim for gold recovery skills with easier conditions, since those with stricter conditions, specifically requiring being jammed, surrounded, or overtaken like Iron Will or Unruffled, are less likely to activate.

| ⓘ Umamusume above have at least B or better in Front Runner aptitude. Picks above are also based on Trackblazer scenario training. | |
Front Runners tend to have a significant advantage since they naturally have less risk of being blocked. We recommend them if you can build them consistently. Alternatively, you can also try your hand with Pace Chasers, who at least has less blockers to deal with still compared to Late Surgers and End Closers.
Angling and Scheming is usually the best unique skill to inherit for Front Runners in the Mile to Medium category (these include Dirt races, which are typically in the Mile distance). For Long races, you'll want Kitasan Black's Victory Cheer! For Sprints, stack speed skills or wait for the release of Nishino Flower, who has a strong unique skill for this distance.

Daily Legend Races is a new feature that will be added in Part 4 of the 1st Anniversary. Similar to the regular Legend Races, you will be able to challenge select Umamusume to earn their star pieces.
Earning enough star pieces of an Umamusume will allow you to raise that Umamusume trainee's star level through Star Unlock, or unlock that trainee if she was unacquired.
Completing the Daily Legend Race of an Umamusume for the first time nets you x10 star pieces. But subsequent wins will only give x1 star piece. You must place 1st to earn each star piece.
This is less than the limited-schedule Legend Races, which still typically give you around x7 when you win and will still give you some when you place less than 1st. Expect this to be a long grind for the trainee you are aiming to acquire or raise the star level for.

Besides Umamusume star pieces, first win rewards for Daily Legend Races also include Carats and Monies, so it's worth trying to win most of the races you haven't tried when you're short on these resources.
There is no deadline for Daily Legend Races and the feature is permanent in the game. Feel free to participate in Daily Legend Races everyday, just have a goal in mind of which Umamusume you are aiming to get star pieces for.
