You can repair your ship for a price depending on how damaged your ship is while docked on outposts. Make sure your ship is fully repaired before venturing into the high seas! You can't fast travel to a dock while sailing, however, so you'll have to manually sail towards the nearest dock.

Repair kits restore Hull Health, with the amount restored depending on which repair kit used. Repair kits are the best for repairing your ship when sailing on the ocean, since they're portable and you can utilize them at any time.
Repair kits can be crafted from the Carpenter provided you have the blueprints for them, bought from vendors, or from looting enemy ships.

The food listed in the table above will increase Repair Kit Efficiency and other effects for a limited amount of time.
In addition to repair kits that restore Hull Health, the Restoration Kit removes all status effects from the ship when used.
How to Cure All Status Effects
Repair weapons allow you to fire on allied ship to restore their Hull Health. You'll have to find the blueprints for these weapons in order to craft them via the Blacksmith.

Certain Ship Furnitures can restore Hull Health or increases the repair amount of repair weapons for more healing to allies.

Out of all the ship types, Tank ships have the most Hull Health and Brace Strength to withstand enemy attacks. Equip armor to your ship to increase its resistances to certain damage types to make it more tanky.
