Skull and Bones - How to Join Friends

You can join your friends through the Social Menu in Skull and Bones. Learn how to join friends, as well as how to add friends in our guide!

How to Join Friends

Invite Friends via the Social Menu

You can invite your friends to join your group via the social menu. Simply open the map and press Triangle or Y Button to access the social menu, then hover over to Groups and Friends. You'll then see a list of all online friends that you can invite to your game session.

All Multiplayer and Co-op Features

Max Group Limit is 3

It's important to note that you can only have up to two friends in your group as the max party size is 3.

This won't actually break the immersion of online open-world play for your group, since all of you will still encounter other players in the server, whether crossing their paths while sailing the seas or engaging in dangerous activities such as PvP.

How to Add Friends

Send Friend Requests to Players in Your World

Friend requests can be sent to players in your current world. You can view all players in your world under the World tab in the Social Menu. Simply select their name and choose Send Friend Request.

Here's how to access the Social Menu:

  1. Open the In-Game Map.
  2. Press Triangle or the Y button to open the Social Menu.

You can also add those you've recently encountered or bumped into previously (even if they're no longer in your current world). This is also located in the World tab, you'll find their names on the right hand side of the menu.

Player Names Cannot Be Searched Up Directly

Unfortunately, you cannot search for player names directly to add them to your friends list. You can only send friend requests to those that are in your current world/server and those that you've recently encountered in-game.
