What to Sell and Best Items to Sell

Commodities That Are Highest in Demand

The best items to sell in Skull and Bones are commodities that are highest in demand. These fetch for a higher price compared to those that are plentiful in supply!

The demand varies for each region though. Each region will have a different list of demands and it's up to you to sell your commodities to that region so you can get more profit!

Get Commodities From Merchant Ships

Commodities can be obtained from merchant ships on trade routes.

When attacking merchant ships, we recommend targeting the lone ones that are not protected by other ships. This way you don't have to deal with multiple enemy ships attacking you because you attacked the merchant.

We also recommend boarding the ships instead of sinking them so you can get more loot!

Get Commodities From Shipwrecks

Shipwrecks contain commodities as well! We recommend checking out every shipwreck that you run into to loot all items inside it.

Make sure you have a crowbar and its upgrades though! Else, you won't be able to get inside the shipwreck.

Check the Supply and Demand For Each Region

Before you sell any of your commodities, you should check your map first to see more information about a region by doing the following steps:

  1. Open your map.
  2. Zoom it out
  3. Hover your cursor over a section on your map that's not a point of interest.

Doing so will show you the factions present in a region, as well as a list of items that are “Plentiful in Supply” and those that are “Highest in Demand”.

Commodity items that are “Plentiful in Supply” in a region will sell for a low price compared to those that are “Highest in Demand”. You should always aim to sell commodities that are highest in demand to get the most profit.

Take the Commodities From Your Warehouse

Now that you know what a region demands, you can then start gathering the commodities that you're going to sell.

Take your commodities from your warehouse, if you keep them in there, then transfer it to your cargo. Remember that you can only sell items that are in your cargo.

Sell Commodities With Green Upward Arrows

When selling Commodities, it's best to avoid merchants that will buy them at a low price. This is usually indicated by a red downward arrow just below the commodity's icon at the merchant's shop.

Instead, you'll want to sell your commodities to merchants who will buy them at a higher price. This is indicated by the green upward arrow below the commodity's icon.

Materials For Ship Building

Skull and Bones Materials for Ship Building

As a pirate, your ship is your bread and butter in Skull and Bones. Therefore, you should invest in creating the best ship by stocking up on the materials you might need to make it.

Having said this, we recommend not selling materials that are needed for ship building. This includes raw materials like wood and refined materials like planks.

Don't throw away your flawed materials either! These can be refined at the refinery shop at Saint-Anne so you can use it as a material for the ship you want to build.

How to Get All Resources and Materials

Food

Skull and Bones Food

Food is essential to you and your crew in Skull and Bones. It keeps you and your crew going when you're on the sea by restoring stamina.

For this reason, we recommend not selling food so you and your crew have provisions when the going gets rough.

Ammunition

It's also not advisable to sell your ammunitions.

In Skull and Bones, enemies can come at you anytime from any direction. This is why it's important that you're able to defend yourself from them using your very own weapons.

You can even use your weapons and ammunitions to raid peaceful ships that you want to loot.

Finally, we also do not recommend selling furniture that you have on your ship.

These furniture give bonuses that can help your ship survive longer on the sea.
