The best cooked dish we recommend is the Ron'akoho. It restores Crew-to-Crew damage by 15%, reduces Trim Crew Stamina Consumption and restores Stamina regen.
This combination of effects makes it the best cooked dish to eat for an agile playstyle. It's usually better to outspeed or outrun most ship and bosses, and the Ron'akoho effects benefits this playstyle.
If you prefer a tanky playstyle focused on bracing, consider cooking the Mchuzi wa Kuharibu dish instead.

Tylosaurus Steak | Restores Stamina by 60% | Cook Monstrous Flesh x1 |
The grilled food that gives the most stamina is Tylosaurus Steak. Your stamina will be restored by 60%, the highest amount out of all the food.
However, it is also the hardest to get, since you'll need to hunt the Sea Monster Kuharibu for the Monstrous Flesh needed.
If you don't have Monstrous Flesh, just cook the raw food that you have available. Avoid eating them raw as the effects are always stronger with cooked food.

All the effects given by consuming Cooked Dishes last 30 minutes.
To start cooking food, interact with a Cookery, which you can identify as a stove cooking over a fire. Choose the food that you want to cook, make sure that you have enough ingredients, then select how many you want to cook and Accept.
The Pirate Dens and outposts have at least one Cookery in the area.
Some recipes will not be available at first, and you'll have to unlock them by reaching higher infamies.
For grilled food, you only need to reach the required Infamy to unlock, but for cooked dishes, you also have to get the blueprint to cook them.
