Fire Grappling Hooks on Weakened Ships

Skull and Bones - Fire Grappling Hooks

Before you can board a ship, you'll first have to damage it below half its health, then sail towards the side of it and fire off grappling hooks (Triangle / Y on Controller, R on Keyboard) to board it.

Make sure to aim high before firing the hooks, otherwise you'll have a good chance of missing your target. Keep in mind that you'll also need to be close enough to the ship for the hooks to latch on.
