| 1 |  Head to Telok Penjarah in the East Indies region. Upon disembarking, walk up to the two pirates in the middle of the Mailbox and Job Board and bribe them to begin this Investigation. Do note that the location of the pirates you have to bribe can change. Out of the possible locations, the image above is the most probable place you can find them. |

| 2 |  After bribing the pirates, head to the Unbound training ground behind Admiral Rahma's Residence and pick up the note as this is the next clue needed to progress this Investigation. You can open your map in-game to check the location of the note when you're at the training ground. |
| 3 |  After examining the note, head to Parujar's Cry in the Pemburu Islands region. The outpost is southeast of Telok Penjarah. You'll receive Mentari's notes as soon as you dock in the area. Read it to learn the whereabouts of Jacob de Roy's crew. |
| 4 |  Jacob de Roy's crew is located west of Parujar's Cry. Eliminate them to receive a Captain's Log. |
| 5 |  After reading the Captain's Log from Jacob de Roy, head back to Telok Penjarah then speak to Admiral Rahma to finish the investigation. |

Awful tutorial. It misses out so much. You find the first clue at the heights of Telok Penjarah, near where the sleeping area is. You go to Parujar's Cry and need to find a book. If youre looking at the island from the beach, you need to follow the right side, its about 15 metres from the beach. You then get the objective to fight the ship
