Year 1 Seasons Roadmap (Rise of the Kingpins)

The speculative dates above except for Season 1 are based on the confirmed in-game events being tied to holidays or real world events.

• Season 1: Ubisoft has released a gameplay trailer for this season and has announced that it will release on February 27, 2024.
• Season 2: Speculated to release in June due to the theme being aligned with the Dragon Boat Festival on that month (Chinese Holiday).
• Season 3: Theorized an October launch due to the confirmed Halloween-themed event within the season.
• Season 4: Speculation based off January 2025's Lunar New Year Event.

Upcoming Season

Season 1: Raging Tide

Skull and Bones' inaugural season, Raging Tide introduces Philippe LePeste and two new end-game features: Faction Convoys and Territory Control.

Final Battle: Philippe LePeste

Season 1's main villain is Philippe LePeste, the first Pirate Lord introduced in Skull and Bones' year 1 roadmap and the main antagonist of the first season.

The Season 1 Gameplay Trailer tells Philippe LePeste's goal of finding a cure for his curse where they might be leads in the Indian Ocean, and to take over The Helm.

Be wary of his Plague attacks that infects anything they come into contact with. Destroy Philippe LePeste's invading fleet to eliminate the threats to your Pirate Emipre!

Faction Convoys and Territory Control

Season 1 brings new activites into the endgame: Faction Convoys and Territory Control.

There is currently no information on these two new activites at the time of writing. We will update this section as soon as we know more!

New Hostile Takeovers

Hostile Takeovers (PvP) are receiving updates in Season 1.

It is currently unknown whether this entails new manufactories ripe for the taking versus other players, or an entirely new PvP mode specific to that season and current manufactories.

New Legendary Heists

Legendary Heists (PvE) will be expanded in Season 1, granting more opportunities for players to control more manufactories across the seas.

Season 1 Rewards

Season 1 offers various seasonal rewards to participating players for the duration of the season.

Rewards can vary from Seasonal Ships, Seasonal Gear, and Seasonal Cosmetics.

Season 1 Release Date

Season 1: Raging Tides has officially been announced to release on February 27, 2024! Enjoy new and free content once the first season is live!

What are Seasons?

Major Content Updates

Seasons are major content updates that come with a specific theme and storyline. Seasonal content introduces new activities and challenges which come with seasonal rewards.

Once a season ends, all content and the rewards that came with them will no longer be available.

Year 1 Seasons: Rise of the Kingpins

Skull and Bones' seasons during its first year is named the Rise of the Kingpins. Each season, a Pirate Lord will be introduced to the game. These Pirate Lords are major endgame bosses who players must defeat at the end of each season.

The bulk of the seasons will contain activities that build up towards the climactic final battle at the final weeks of the seasons.

Seasonal Ships and Gear

Each season comes with seasonal ships and gear that are rewarded through various activies within the season. Use these to customize your loadouts and take down the Kingpins in each season!

Seasonal Events

World Events

Each season brings a new batch of world events for players to face and gain seasonal rewards. These can range from raiding merchant ships that are ripe with loot, to battling monstrous creatures out in the open seas.

Limited-Time Events

Limited-Time Events are co-op events that players can progress as a community each season for seasonal rewards. Each season will come with their own limited-time event and will run until the end of the season.
