Craft Through a Blacksmith

Once you have the required materials and Infamy, speak to a Blacksmith at a pirate den or outpost and you can start crafting your armor.

Install Armor on Your Ship

Install your newly crafted armor to your ship on the correct slot by going to the Manage Ship menu while docked at a pirate den or outpost, or from anywhere if you're on foot while in these places.
