Loot Enemy Ships Plunder Forts and Settlements

Loot Enemy Ships

Exotic Materials can be looted from enemy ships. Whip out your Spyglass and observe enemy ships to see what cargo are they carrying. The ships that carry Exotic Materials are found in marked Trade Routes in the map when tracking the materials.

You can only loot from destroyed enemy ships, so you'll have to prepare for battle to get these materials! You can also get bonus loot after successfully boarding enemy ships.

Tracking Exotic Materials

You can track Exotic Materials in the game's Codex. Press the touchpad on the PS Controller and go to the Codex tab. Find the material that you want to track and check the map for the pinpointed locations.

Plunder Forts and Settlements

Plundering a capital can net you Exotic Materials, but you'll have to fight through waves of enemy ships that are trying to stop you from plundering!

Capitals that hold Exotic Materials will also be marked once you track a material from the Codex. Make sure you are prepared for battle and don't be afraid to Call for Help from other players to assist you.
