You can get Utility Furniture by finding their blueprints and gathering the required resources and materials. Blueprints are sold by vendors in outposts and dens.

Skull and Bones - Craft Weapons From Blacksmiths

When you have the necessary resources and materials, speak to a Carpenter and select the Utility Furniture tab to craft one. You'll also need to pay some Silver on top of the required materials!

What Are Utility Furniture?

Improves Other Aspects of Your Ship

Utility Furniture provide improvements to your ship that are not directly related to combat, like increasing your cargo capacity, speed, stamina management, and even harvesting yield.

If you would rather go all in on offense, you can further improve your damage output by using Status Effect Furniture instead.
