How to Get Royal Custodian
You can get a Royal Custodian by destroying or boarding one of the convoy ships in the Colonial Shipment or Legendary Heist world events of Skull and Bones. Learn how to get the Royal Custodian in this guide!

Colonial Shipment World Event
Join a Colonial Shipment World Event
Open your world map and join a Colonial Shipment world event. This event is marked by a blue cargo icon and usually spawns north of Sainte-Anne.
This is a co-op activity and other players can also participate in the event.
Destroy or Board the Convoy Ships
You will find three merchant ships at the event area and one of them has the Royal Custodian. Destroy or board one of the ships until you get the Royal Custodian.
The merchant ships will be rank 7, so make sure to bring a ship that is at least the same level as them so that you won't have a difficult time damaging the ships.
Failing the event or even dying still lets you keep the Royal Custodian as long as you have already obtained the armor from one of the ships. In the event that your ship gets sunken down, you can still scavenge the Royal Custodian from your shipwreck.
Legendary Heist World Event
Join a Legendary Heist World Event
Open your world map and join a Legendary Heist World Event. This event is marked by a blue chest with a sword icon.
This is another co-op activity that other players can also participate in to help you out.
Destroy or Board the Merchant Ship
In the event area, you will find a merchant ship along with several other ships guarding it. The one you should target has a different ship design from the rest and has a ship name above it.
Destroy or board the merchant ship to obtain the Royal Custodian. The ship will be rank 10 so make sure to bring a ship of around the same level so you can deal decent damage to it.
What is a Royal Custodian?
High-Tier Ship Armor
The Royal Custodian is a powerful ship armor with an Armor Rating of 1150, which when equipped, will greatly strengthen your ship's base defense against incoming projectiles.
Since this is a high-tier ship armor, equipping this on your ship could increase its ship rank by two levels.
