Character Creation is available after the tutorial of Skull and Bones. Read on to see how to create your character, decide their gender and name, and how to change appearance!

You can create your character after the tutorial in Skull and Bones which will lead to a shipwreck. After a small cutscene you will be able to change your character's apperance through a preset of genders and appearances.
As of the Open Beta, you cannot name your character. Your name will be the same one as you put on your Ubisoft Account name.
You can change your character's appearance and buy cosmetics in the Vanity Atelier found in islands where you can dock. The cosmetics available range from a variety of clothing items to emotes.
You can change the following at the Vanity Atelier:
