When Does Season 1 Start?
Season 1 Launches February 27, 2024
Skull and Bones' Season 1, also known as “Raging Tides”, will drop on February 27, 2024. The Skull and Bones team announced the date on February 21, 2024.
According to the tweet, players can expect new exciting features including new game play, new legendary pirates, and free exclusive rewards!

Main Villain: Philippe LePeste
Philippe LePeste is the first Pirate Lord introduced in Season 1 and serves as the main antagonist of the season.
With him come ships that deals damage that carries a plague, making them a terror to face on the open seas!
Faction Convoys and Territory Control
Faction Convoys and Territory Control are two endgame activities to be included in Season 1.
Not much is known about the mechanics of these new activities as of the moment. We will update this section as soon as we discover relevant information about it!
New Hostile Takeovers
Hostile Takeovers will receive an overhaul in the upcoming Season 1 update of Skull and Bones. It is unknown whether this introduces new manufactories for players to fight over, or if it completely introduces a new PvP mode exclusive to that season and current manufactories.
New Legendary Heists
Season 1 launches with new and improved Legendary Heists, which provides more opportunities for players to seize control of more manufactories across the sea.
Seasonal Battle Pass (Smuggler Pass)
Beginning on Season 1, a seasonal battle pass will be implemented known as Smuggler Pass. This pass offers different challenges that you can complete to earn Smuggler Tokens, which you can use to unlock Character Cosmetics and Ship Cosmetics.
There will be two passes available: Free Pass, which is available to all players, the other being a paid version known as Premium Pass, which contains additional rewards.

Throughout the duration of Season 1, players can earn season-exclusive rewards such as new ships and gear.
