Carry more cargo in Skull and Bones by building better ships! See how to carry more cargo and what cargo to keep in this guide!
List of Contents
Head on over to a Shipwright and let them build a ship for you, provided you have the necessary materials with you. You can check the cargo meter on each ship to see which one can hold the most storage.
You can freely switch ships depending on the situation, as you might need a DPS-type ship that holds less cargo for securing an objective.

Free up space in your current ship's cargo hold by depositing cargo in your warehouse. With more free space, you can plunder and store more goods, items, and crafting materials from shipwrecks and harvesting nodes.
You can also store your cargo in an outpost's cache, as it's automatically stored in your warehouse once you put your cargo in there.
We also recommend storing crafting materials in the warehouse, while only bringing along valuable items for selling with you.
Keep in Cargo | Store in Warehouse |

✔️ Repair Kits ✔️ Weapon Ammunition ✔️ Food ✔️ Commodities |
❌ Crafting Materials |
Consumables such as Repair Kits, Weapon Ammunition, and Food are valuable when embarking. We recommend always keeping a handful of these.
If you plan on engaging in prolonged voyages or combat, consider bringing more with you.
Before embarking from a dock, we recommend storing crafting materials in your warehouse.
Dying will drop the cargo your ship holds. If you die again without retrieving your cargo, it will be lost forever!
