The first Scaly custard can be found in the Tropical Wilds during the story mission To Twilight River!
You can get the Scaly Custard by solving the Seesaw Puzzle which leads you to a a hollowed out stump. Entering this stump leads you to the second part of the puzzle with the Scaly Custard close by. Alongside the Scaly Custard is a Stellar Extrusion and a Juicy Gaggle.
How to Solve the Seesaw Puzzle in Tropical Wilds
The second Scaly Custard can be obtained in the Garden of Hope during the story mission Find the Hocotatian!
Defeating the hidden Peckish Aristocrab that is found after passing through the white flowerpot will make the fruit appear.
By going a different path after passing through the white flowerpot, you will be able to retrieve the Lesser Mock Bottom after pulling up a Flukeweed. Don't forget to retrieve this fruit as well.
