Missing: Park (Night): Alternate course. Just before the dam, left. Side Path (Night): Throw Illumina orbs at the two Murkrows. They will show again later and the Pidgeot will get out of the nest. After this, scan the nest. Badlands (Day): In the alternate path,there is a nest on the right. Scan it. Badlands (Night): In the alternate path, on your right, close to the Crystalbloom, there is a wall. You can scan it. Badlands (Night): There is a nest on the right. Same one as in day.
How do I get the scan analysis for the octillery on Beach (Day)? It always pops the stunfisk and then I can't scan it
The description on Research Spot (3) Park (Day) is incorrect. The description in the "Where to find" box, doesn't match with the picture.
Alright! I finally got the title!!! The one I was missing was the Night Jungle Ruins… BUT I was only able to get the ruins scannable at night when I was taking pics of Mew! I had to successfully make Mew appear 3 or 4 times before getting to the ruins, and when I got to the ruins I was able to scan them since Mew was hiding in them. This only worked if I was able to successfully hit Mew’s orb each time it appeared before the ruins. So if you are stuck this may be one you are missing!
OMG <3 never mind about my comment of not being able to wake up the Pidgeot!!! I got it! THANK YOU!!!!!! BUT It still didn’t give me the title! I am still missing something :’-(

The nest isn’t scannable for me at night, only in the daytime :-( At night, Pidgeot is in the nest sleeping and there is nothing scannable. I can’t wake her up, either.
Side Path (Night): Pidgeot Nest (after Murkrow interaction, but before orbing Magikarp)
Badlands Alternate Route: Mandibuzz nest Badlands (Night) Alternate Route: Vivillon scales on wall
I have been going back to every area at every level making sure I have everything on this list and re-scanning everything just in case (even the green crystals mentioned in a previous comment here)… But I still don’t have the Great Detective :-( My progress bar is just about full and it says 11/12. Not sure what I could possibly be missing. It’s been frustrating wasting days focused on trying to find this last one I need for this title with no luck!
One that is missing from the guide is the green crystals above the alternate exit in Outaway Cave.
I’ve completed all of these but still missing Great Detective. Can anyone advise?
