That seems like a really bad bug considering you can get this request before completing the story. Plus i completed the gem royalty request and diancie did the pink light attack then too. Getting diancie to do this is also required for the mawile request iirc.
Yes, that seems to have been it! Tried it again after completing the story and it works now.
Have you completed the story yet? I have tried numerous times as well and that is my only explanation as I haven't progressed further.
This one will not work for me at all, the diancie shows up but it won't do the pink light thing. Anyone have any tips how to resolve this?
