How to Clear Red-Hot Energy Request Walkthrough
This is a guide to completing Red-Hot Energy, a request in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch. Here you can find what kind of photo you need, and how to take it, in order to clear Red-Hot Energy, as well as the reward!

How to Clear Red-Hot Energy
Take the Alternate Route in the Cave
When you enter the cave, use your scanner to find the alternate route and take it. If you are doing this request in Research Level 2, you do not need to select this route since it is the only path you can take.
Toss Illumina Orbs at the Two Charmander
As you go through the alternate route, you will eventually find a large lava pit with two Charmander at the bottom. Toss Illumina Orbs at both Charmander. Take a short pause before proceeding to the next step. Going too fast may cause the next step to fail.
Make Graveler Fall
Once both Charmander are glowing, look upwards and you will find a Graveler on the wall next to a hole on the ceiling. Toss Fluffruit at the Graveler to make it crash down into the lava pit.
Capture a Photo of Charizard
Prepare your camera as the three Pokemon investigate the crash site. After a few moments, Charizard should come bursting through the lava pit. Quickly take photos of the Pokemon before it flies away.
Reward for Clearing Red-Hot Energy
Monitor: Professor Mirror
The Monitor: Professor Mirror frame is obtained after completing the Red-Hot Energy request and can be used when editing photos.

Sicking98 over 4 yearsSo I have been searching for this request since first visiting the volcano. Just now I found the solution trough this guys video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM9dqdxOqT4 . The solution is as follows: First hit the charmanders in de lava pit with illumina orbs and then hit the hanging graveler with an apple. This way the charmanders will investigate instead of running away. After this Charizard will break trough and can be photographed. No credit goes to me but I hope you guys can use it.
