Volcano Walkthrough: List of Pokemon and How to Unlock
When you enter the cave, you can find Luxray before you enter the large magma chamber. The Pokemon will be standing on a rock to the right of the path.
Once you see Luxray, toss an Illumina Orb at it to make its eyes glow yellow. Take a photo of the Pokemon before its eyes return to normal.
There are no obtainable rewards for completing this request.

Completed this on lv 3, but it could probably be done on lv 2 too. Inside the orange lava caverns(not the alternate route) there's a Luxray sitting up high to the right of the path. Use a Luma orb on him then snap a shot for completion.(watch for his eye color change)
