Before entering the large cavern in the Ruins, you can see a small doorway to the left of the path. A salandit will come out of the doorway at Research Levels 1 and 2, but at Research Level 3, you first need to hit the Noivern with Fluffruit and toss Fluffruit at the doorway to lure out the Salandit. Take a photo of the Salandit as it calmly walks out.

You can take a 2 Star photo of Salandit in the same spot as its 1 Star photo. After Salandit has made it out of the doorway, toss a Fluffruit near it and wait for the Pokemon to approach. Take a photo of Salandit as it is eating the fruit.

In the same spot as its 1 and 2 Star photos, you can toss an Illumina Orb at Salandit to make it stand on its hind legs and smile. Take a photo of the Pokemon doing this action to get a 3 Star photo.
