Near the start of the Ruins course, you can find several Houndoom patrolling the area. It is best to take this photo near the beginning of the course since the Houndoom are significantly closer to the player. Take a photo of the patrolling Houndoom.

You can take a 4 Star photo of Houndoom by hitting it with Fluffruit and taking a photo of its reaction after being hit. Just like Houndoom's 1 Star photo, it is best to take this photo near the beginning since the Houndoom are closer to the player.

To take a 3 Star photo of Houndoom, you can hit one of them with a Fluffruit to make it growl at you. You can do this near the start of the Ruins course since the Houndoom in this area are closer to the player.

To take a 4 Star photo of Houndoom, you need to follow the same steps to completing The Power of Xerneas request. However, instead of taking a photo of Xerneas, point your camera towards one of the two Houndoom and take a photo of it once you see the Houndoom howl at Xerneas. It is recommended to use Burst Mode when taking this photo.

4 star Houndoom is in the illumina spot at the ruins. In the mural room there will be two Houndoom, wake them up by throwing fluffruit at it, then scan which will make them howl, that’s the 4 star photo

Don’t need illuminate spot for a 4 star. The sleeping Houndoom that’s right behind you at the start of lvl 3, toss FF to wake it, let it start walking, hit it with another, it’ll growl, hit with orb and it’ll howl after that, much easier than trying to do the illumina spot)
