Simply take a close-up shot of a calm Octillery to achieve a 1 Star photo. In Beach (Day), take the route through the hidden beach to find 2 Octillery; 1 on the shore to the left and another 1 in the water to the right.

Hit Octillery with a Fluffruit to make it move. Wait for Octillery to eat the fluffruit and make sure to take a side view close-up shot to achieve a 2 Star photo.

At the end of Beach (Night), throw a fluffruit at the shovel an Octillery is standing over. A Sandygast will pop out where the shovel was and it will spook the Octillery. Snap a photo of the Octillery running away in fear to earn the 3 Star photo.

You can earn the 4 Star photo of Octillery while completing the request Hiding in the Sand. On the route to the hidden beach in Beach (Day), scan to discover the hidden Stunfisk beside the Octillery underneath the water. Throw a fluffruit right above the Stunfisk and the fluffruit will sink down and land on the Stunfisk, which will cause it to electrocute the Octillery twice.
In response to the Stunfisk's second electricity attack, the Octillery will spray ink before fleeing. Snap a photo of the Octillery spraying the ink for the 4 Star photo.
