You can take a 1 Star photo of Scorupi by capturing a photo of it walking. The best spot to take this photo is by the three Crystablooms near the start of Sands (Day) where a Skorupi is revealed by the flying Mandibuzz. This Skorupi will earn you the most points for your photo since it gets closest to the player.

To take a 2 Star photo of Skorupi, you can take a photo of the Pokemon as it jumps out of the sand. In Sands (Day), you can find several sand mounds near the start of the level. By tossing Fluffruit at some of the sand mounds, you can reveal a Skorupi. It is best to take this photo at the sand mound to the right of the path before reaching the three Crystablooms since it is the closest to the player.
