Holy Night's Prayer

Winter Tropon is an interesting unit in that she can either be so-so or quite powerful depending on who she's fighting. This is because her skills (Miracle Stars and Holy Night's prayer) allows her to steal the enemy's ATK and DEF stats, as well as dispel any buffs that the enemy has and use their benefits for herself.

However, her buff "stealing" does come with the caveat of not being able to steal any buffs that cannot be dispelled. So you need to know which character she'll be facing as an enemy, and their potential buffs. Also, Winter Tropon's skills only become more useful with heavy investment into Winter Tropon. She could perhaps be more useful in PvP than in PvE.

Ability to Inflict Faint and Prolong Buffs

Miracle Stars

A nice addition to Winter Tropon's skillset is her Illusion! ability, which can potentially inflict Faint on the entire enemy party, as well as prolong any buffs she has. This means she can steal buffs, and keep them a bit longer. Just like her other skills, Illusion! becomes more potent once you invest a bit into Winter Tropon (and get her to level 181).

Give Tropon Debuff ACC, ACC, CRIT RES, and EVD Runes

Considering that Winter Tropon will most likely be a debuffer in your team, give her Debuff ACC runes so her dispels have a higher chance of hitting home. Give her ACC runes too if you can afford to, as well as any leftover MAG and ATK runes you have. For defensive runes, give her EVD, HP, CRIT RES, and Debuff RES runes.

Fortunately, Winter Tropon is a general-purpose kind of debuffer who can fit in various party setups. For PvE, you can stick her in a team with Florence as the main attacker, along with Merlyn and Primavera as buffers and Soltina as another debuffer who can also inflict Faint on enemies.

Skill Effect

Level 1 (Unlocks by default) "I'm gonna getcha!" Stars fly out of a mysterious hole connected to space-time, raining down on the enemy. Absorbs 15% of both the ATK and DEF of the enemy with the highest remaining HP into Tropon's own ATK and DEF for 2 turns (the decision to absorb a stat based on Tropon's Debuff ACC is done separately for each stat). Is this a Holy Miracle, or a flashy trick? Afterwards, this skill deals 1 direct attack equal to 10% of the target's current HP to them. This direct attack does not deal a critical hit, and its damage does not exceed 500% of Tropon's current ATK (her ATK after it has absorbed the target's ATK). Level 2 (Unlocks by level 81) The direct attack's damage becomes equal to 15% of the target's current HP. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 161) Additionally, grants Tropon ［Shield］equal to 50% of this skill's total damage for 2 turns.

Skill Effect

Level 1 (Unlocks by level 11) Magic that transcends space-time flies out of the mysterious hole. What looks to be moving to the right moves left. What looks to be moving up moves diagonally and to the side. No one know s what will fly out, or from where. Deals 1 magical attack equal to 250% of Tropon's ATK to 5 random enemies, and has a 10% chance of inflicting ［Fainted］on all targets for 1 turn. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 21) Additionally, if a target is not defeated by this skill, increases the number of turns of every buff Tropon is enhanced with by 1. When this skill deals its attack, if the effect of Holy Night's Prayer grants a new buff to Toropon, that new buff will also be affected. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 101) The magical attack's damage becomes equal to 340% of the ATK. Level 4 (Unlocks by level 181) The chance to inflict［Fainted］becomes 20%

Level 1 (Unlocks by level 41) If someone wishes on a star on the Holy Night, their wish will come true. When Tropon attacks, this skill has a 10% chance to dispel 1 buff from the target. If successful, this skill grants the dispelled buff's effect to Tropon. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 121) The chance to dispel the target's buff and grant it to Tropon becomes 20%. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 201) The chance to dispel the target's buff and grant it to Tropon becomes 30%.
