Spirit’s Aegis

Prayer for Salvation

Chiffon is a witch you want to bring along if you need both healing and a bit of survivability. Her fully-leveled Bow-Wow-Wow! and Happiness skills buff both her DEF and the DEF of her allies, on top of granting them Shield buffs.

Spirit's Aegis, meanwhile, is both a healing spell and a debuff spell in one, as it can heal an ally's HP equivalent to 50% of Chiffon's ATK, or inflict the Sleep debuff if it hits an enemy. All these skills become more effective if you take the time and resources to awaken Chiffon.

I’ll Hang On, I Will

Chiffon has another skill, 'I'll Hang On, I Will' which cuts the damage she receives up to 40% if it exceeds 10% of her HP, though it does get less effective as the battle goes on.

Give Chiffon SPD, MAG, CRIT RES, and HP Runes

Chiffon's healing scales with her ATK stat, so give her ATK runes for the extra boost, as well as MAG (main stat), PM. DEF Break, and SPD runes. For defensive runes, she'll need CRIT RES, Debuff RES, EVD, and HP runes.

Chiffon can do well in most party setups where you just need a bit more DEF than usual. Pair her with your main attacker (most likely Florence), supports like Merlyn and Mertillier, and tanks like Soltina. Chiffon's Shield buff from her level 2 Happiness skill will definitely help Florence, who can be easily defeated if not buffed properly.

Level 1 (Unlocks by default) “Bow-Wow-WOW!” With these magic words, Chiffon helps her friends out. Increases all allies’ DEF by 50% for 4 turns. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 81) Additionally increases all targets’ ATK by 10% for 4 turns. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 161) Additionally grants all targets［Shield］equal to 100% of Chiffon’s ATK for 2 turns.

Skill Effect

Level 1 (Unlocks by level 11) “Spirit’s Aegis...huh? Th-This is the wrong magic spell!” After conjuring this magic spell by mistake, Chiffon has no idea what will happen next. This skill selects 5 random targets out of all enemies and allies. If an ally is a target, this skill restores HP equal to 50% of Chiffon’s ATK to them. If an enemy is a target, this skill deals 1 magical attack equal to 200% of Chiffon’s ATK to them, decreasing their chance to resist a critical hit by 30% and inflicting［Sleep］on them for 1 turn.［Sleep］is dispelled when the target is attacked. This skill ignores［Taunt］and［Stealth］. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 21) If an ally is a target, additionally increases their critical hit damage by 15% for 1 turn. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 101) The magical attack’s damage becomes equal to 300% of her ATK. Level 4 (Unlocks by level 181) The amount a target’s HP is restored by becomes equal to 100% of Chiffon’s ATK, and the number of turns of［Increased Critical Hit Damage］becomes 2.

Increases both her max HP and DEF by 15% (cannot be dispelled). Level 2 (Unlocks by level 121) Additionally, at the start of the battle, grants the ally with the highest ATK other than Chiffon［Shield］equal to 150% of Chiffon’s ATK for 1 turn. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 201) The amounts her max HP and DEF increase by each become 30%.

If she is attacked and takes damage that exceeds 10% of her max HP, the damage is cut by 20%. At the start of each turn, the potency of the damage cutting decreases by 2%. This skill will not activate after the start of the 11th turn. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 141) The damage from the enemy’s attack is cut by 30%. At the start of each turn, the potency of the damage cutting decreases by 3%. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 221) The damage from the enemy’s attack is cut by 40%. At the start of each turn, the potency of the damage cutting decreases by 4%.
