Heavy Attack With Damage Multipliers

Tainted Iris' offensive skills revolve around her dealing massive damage to her enemies, with a large chance of decreasing their ATK, then using that debuffed state as a damage multiplier for her second attack.

Her first active skill, Fatal Crush, deals damage that scales with her ATK, while having a 70% chance of decreasing their ATK. She then follows up with No Mercy, which deals up to 6 physical attack enemies at random. If they got hit with her ATK debuff, No Mercy's damage would multiply by 2.

Indomitable Spirit

Unless you invest heavily in her, Tainted Iris will most likely be the protector of your main attacker. Her first passive skill, Outpouring Feelings, creates a Force Field around her and another ally with the highest ATK in the team. If they get hit with an attack that exceeds 20% of their HP, then the damage that goes over that will be cut by 50%.

If you're willing to raise Tainted Iris all the way to LR rarity, this skill will also cover the fastest unit in your team (though if that unit is the same as the one with the highest ATK, then you may be fine with this skill being at just level 2).

On top of this, Iris can also grant herself a Shield with her second passive, Indomitable Spirit. This skill kicks in when her HP goes below 30%, and is equal to half of her ATK. At level 2, this is multiplied by the number of enemies who are still alive when the skill kicks in, up to an equivalent of 300% of Iris' ATK. While this Shield is up, Iris will prove very tough to defeat.

Give Tainted Iris PM Def Break, CRIT, CRIT RES, and EVD Runes

Tainted Iris is a heavy attacker who can also be a bit tanky when needed. For her offensive runes, give her PM. DEF Break and SPD runes if you can spare the resources. If you can't spare them, at least give her STR and CRIT runes. For defensive runes, give her HP, EVD, CRIT RES, and Debuff RES runes.

For PvE, Tainted Iris doesn't shine that much since we already have perfectly serviceable attackers such as Florence and Cordie. However, if you already have her, you could put her in a PvE team as a secondary attacker that will also protect your main with defensive buffs.

You can also put in other Amber soul support witches like Primavera and Hathor for more buffs, another ATK debuffer, and a soul bonus.

Level 2 (Unlocks by level 81) Additionally, after dealing the physical attack, has a 70% chance of decreasing all targets’ ATK by 10% for 2 turns. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 161) The physical attack’s damage becomes equal to 920% of her ATK.

Level 1 (Unlocks by level 11) Iris does everything simply, ruthlessly, and without a single ounce of mercy. Deals 4 physical attacks equal to 390% of her ATK to enemies at random. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 21) Additionally, before dealing the physical attacks, if a target is afflicted with ［Decreased ATK］, the physical attack’s damage to that target is multiplied by 2. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 101) The number of physical attacks becomes 6. Level 4 (Unlocks by level 181) The physical attack’s damage becomes equal to 440% of her ATK.

At the start of the battle, this skill grants ［Force Field］ to Iris for 2 turns. If a character enhanced with ［Force Field］ is attacked and takes damage that exceeds 20% of their max HP, the exceeding amount of damage is cut by 50%. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 121) Additionally grants ［Force Field］ to the ally with the highest ATK other than Iris for 2 turns. Level 3 (Unlocks by level 201) Additionally grants［Force Field］ to the ally with the highest SPD other than Iris for 2 turns. If this ally target is the same as the ally target with the highest ATK, these 2 buffs will overlap, causing this skill's ［Force Field］ to be overwritten by the new ［Force Field］. Thus, ［Force Field］ will only be granted to Iris and this ally target.

This skill activates only 1 time per battle. Level 2 (Unlocks by level 141) Additionally, the size of ［Shield］ is further increased by 50% of Iris' ATK for each enemy who is alive when this skill activates (total size of 300% max). Level 3 (Unlocks by level 221) The number of turns of ［Shield］ becomes 3.
