Eirene is best built as a secondary DPS or a debuffer for the team. However, it is also important to not neglect her defensive stats in order to make full use of her second skill, Astrum, which gets enhanced after the skill is used for the third time in a battle.

It is best to use DEX, and ATK runes to give Eirene more raw damage from her attacks. Meanwhile the Debuff ACC rune will help make sure that her DEF shred from Weathered Shot gets applied more consistently.

Four Defensive runes are used with Eirene, the STA rune, HP rune, CRIT RES rune, and Debuff RES rune. The first three mentioned runes help with general survivability and make sure that Eirene does not get one shot by attacks.

The Debuff RES rune will be extremely useful in ensuring that negative status effects do not get inflicted on her. Particularly, protection from Silence is important as it delays Eirene's third use of Astrum.

This team focuses on sustaining through enemy attacks to reach the turns where Eirene and Winter Stella can use their enhanced skills to deal significant damage and debuffs to opponent teams.

Milla delays enemy skills and heals the team. Meanwhile, Fortina will buff and heal allies. Yildiz, Stella, and Eirene serve as the offensive part of the team, debuffing and damaging the enemies, whittling them down until they are at a point to be destroyed.

While Pola Tanks damage, and Milla sustains, Eirene and Yildiz can focus on debuffing the enemy team and buffing allies. Finally, Fia will be the team's DPS, making use of the various debuffs like Eirene's DEF shred to make short work of enemies.

Debuffer for PvE and Secondary DPS

Eirene is, first and foremost, a general-use debuffer in PvE and and secondary DPS. If you intend to use her as a debuffer (DEF shred), she's good to have at one copy. But if you want to use her as a sub DPS, then you will have to get multiple copies of her.

If you have her in your team while clearing the main quest, Eirene's first skill Weathered Shot will debuff the DEF of 4 (5, if you have her Unique Weapon) enemies by 25%. If you are using her in the Tower of Infinity, this DEF shred rises to 50%, making the enemy team that much easier to take down.

We recommend getting only one copy of her for a PvE team (specifically the Main Quest and Tower of Infinity modes) since Radiance witches are generally hard to come by and there are other witches within this soul class (like Rusalka) that should be invested in first.

Attack Buffer for DPS Carries

If you are running a slow team (usually your DPS carry is the slowest member of your team but still faster than the rest of the enemy team), Eirene has two other benefits in the form of her first passive, Contract of the Night.

This skill, strenghens her and the ally with the lowest SPD's basic attack. Whenever they make a basic attack, they will decrease their skill cooldown time by 1 and dispel up to 2 debuffs from themselves. This allows your DPS carry to use their high-damage active skills more often in battle.

Protector of Slower Teams

Eirene's second skill, I'm Cheering You On! also has benefits for a slow team. This passive grants the ally with the lowest SPD other than Eirene a Force Field for 4 turns. This force field cuts the damage from an enemy's attack by 30%, keeping them safe from damage.

Additionally, before dealing the physical attack, decreases all targets’ DEF by 25% for 4 turns. If this skill is used in Auto-Battles or Boss Battles, ［Decreased DEF］ becomes unable to be dispelled. If this skill is used in the Tower of Infinity, the amount all targets’ DEF decreases by becomes 50%.

The physical attack’s damage becomes equal to 260% of her ATK.

“An instructor’s gotta show off sometimes!” When Eirene pulls the trigger after channeling her greatest wish, she turns her bullets into shooting stars that pierce the heavens above. Deals 4 physical attacks equal to 280% of her ATK to enemies at random. If this skill is used for the 3rd time and onward during battle, Astrum Natalis activates instead of Astrum. Astrum Natalis deals 6 physical attacks equal to 560% of Eirene’s ATK to the enemy with the highest ATK.
Level 2 Unlocks by level 21
Strengthens Astrum Natalis. Additionally, before dealing the initial physical attack, increases her chance to hit by 50% for 1 turn.
Level 3 Unlocks by level 101
Strengthens Astrum Natalis. The number of physical attacks becomes 8.
Level 4 Unlocks by level 181
Astrum’s physical attacks’ damage becomes equal to 380% of Eirene’s ATK. Astrum Natalis’s physical attacks’ damage becomes equal to 760% of Eirene’s ATK.

In order to protect her beloved pupils, Eirene wished for power that could change fate. But, that wish came true in the cruelest way imaginable. At the start of the turn, Eirene strengthens her basic attack for 3 turns. When she deals a basic attack, this skill decreases her skill cooldown time by 1, and dispels 1 debuff from her. Afterwards, this skill’s ［Strengthened Basic Attack］ is dispelled. This skill will not activate again until 3 action phases have ended since its previous activation.
Level 2 Unlocks by level 121
The number of debuffs that are dispelled when she deals a strengthened basic attack becomes 2.
Level 3 Unlocks by level 201
The targets of ［Strengthened Basic Attack］ become Eirene and the ally with the lowest SPD.

When an enhanced target of ［Force Field］ is attacked, the attack’s damage is cut by 30%. The effect that grants ［Force Field］ will not activate again until 4 action phases have ended since its previous activation.
