Though she may not be a strong unit for players, Tropon can be very tough to deal with as an enemy. Her skillset allows her to boost her damage the longer you are fighting her, heal herself, make any buffs she has last longer, and make her move faster than your units.

On top of all of this, she can also take any buffs from witches who give her a critical hit. If she doesn't get a critical hit if an enemy attacks her, Tropon can take any debuff she has been afflicted with and give it to the enemy that attacked her.

To deal with her, one needs to focus on taking her out within the first turn. Failing that, she'll have to be dealt with without relying on buffs or inflicting debuffs on her. You will also need buff dispellers to take out any buffs that Tropon may be benefiting from.

• Her first active skill gets stronger every time it is used. • Is able to extend the lifespan of any buffs she has. • Can steal the buffs of any enemy that deals a critical hit to her. If she's not hit with a critical attack and she has any debuffs, she can transfer them to the enemy who attacked her instead.	Still a fragile unit that may be taken out straight up in the first or second turn. • Buff dispellers can keep her from benefiting from any buffs. • Party can avoid having buffers and debuffers if you're not confident of taking her out on the first turn.

First Active Skill Grows Stronger With Every Use

Liar’s Sting

Tropon's Liar's Sting active skill grows stronger every time it's used. Since it cools down every four turns, it would be best if you avoid drawing out the battle with her and taking her out quickly.

Can Steal Buffs From Enemies, Give Enemies Her Own Debuffs

Illusion

Tropon's most devastating skill, however, is her second passive - Illusion - which effectively makes her hard to debuff as she will be able to turn those debuffs back to your witches. If you rely on debuffs like Faint or Silence, Tropon will make it troublesome for you to deal with her that way.

What you need to do is avoid debuffing her and avoid relying on buffs.

Tropon Hard Counters

Fia

Witches with ramping damage that do not depend mainly on critical hits to deal damage like Fia are useful in dealing with Tropon and her team. Though Tropon's damage will grow throughout the battle, the growth in their own damage will outpace hers.

Witch Illya

Illya's God's Curse version is also another example of a witch who deals damage not just via critical hits, but by spamming her second active skill.

Cordie and Fia serve as the main attackers in this team, while Nina steals buffs that Tropon could end up having for herself. Dian and Merlyn will provide support to whoever has the highest ATK by keeping them cleansed.

Even with the risk of Tropon stealing some of their buffs, this team's damage output should be able to take her out quickly.

PvE Burst Team

In any PvE match where you wind up fighting Tropon, Cordie will be able to give good enough burst damage that she'll be able to take out Tropon regardless of the risks in hitting her with a crit. Just don't put Primavera in front of Tropon to avoid getting the Faint debuff thrown back at her.

Witches Not To Use Against Tropon

Soltina

Soltina's Faint and Sleep debuffs may end up being tossed back at her if she ends up hitting Tropon. However, she may still be useful as a tank regardless because of her multi-barrier. Use her only when you don't have any other option.

Gil’uial

Gil'uial could be useful in dispelling buffs that Tropon has, but her Azure soul has an elemental weakness against Tropon's own soul.

Florence

Amleth

Though Florence and Amleth are great attackers in their own right, Florence needs critical hits to increase the number of attacks she makes (which could lead to the buffs needed to make that happen). Meanwhile, Amleth has an Immortality buff that Tropon could end up stealing if she ends up dealing a critical hit to her.

Tips for Beating Tropon

Use Attackers That Have High Burst Potential

The best way to take care of Tropon is to take her out as early as possible. With most popular teams in MM being burst comps, you should be fine for the most part even if your characters do need buffs of some sort to achieve that burst.

Avoid Debuffing Tropon

Debuffing Tropon will just give her a debuff that she can then hand back to your witches.

Dispel Tropon's Buffs Whenever Possible

Since Tropon can extend the life of the buffs she gets, outright dispelling them as soon as possible will deny her their benefits.
