For her offensive runes, prioritize getting her STR runes to boost her raw damage and Fainted debuff chance. If you want her to be useful, make sure her STR is higher than the enemy's STR. This can be essential for making her control reliable in PvP and maximizing her burst in PvE. The CRIT rune synergizes perfectly with her passive Witch of Mourning Flowers (ATK and Crit DMG boost). This makes her a DPS especially when she pairs it with her weapon. Other runes like ATK and SPD is to increase her effectivity in battle. As for her defensive runes, HP runes are a great way to make her stay in the battle longer.

Natasha can be one of the units that you'll get at the start of the game. You can pair her with other standard units like Cordie or Florence and be their secondary DPS. In this team, Florence or Cordie can capitalize on Natasha's Fainted debuff as long as the enemies have lower STR than Natasha. Fenrir can reduce her adjacent ally's cooldowns (at higher levels) and Mertillier can do the same for the ally with the highest ATK. Fenrir and Mertillier's position can be switched once Mertillier's Maintenance skill reached level 2, so that the ATK buff can go to either DPS.

Please note that Natasha can be replaced pretty early in the game because many other units have overpowered her for both PvE and PvP.

PvP Disruptor

By theory, her kit is good for PvP. Her Floral Burial skill has a multi-hit damage and fainted chance (up to 75% with her weapon) that can disable enemy carries early. She should thrive against teams with lower STR units. She can be positioned as a disruptor. However, most units now have higher STR than her, making her irrelevant to use for PvP.

PvE Secondary DPS

Her Lots of Pretty Flowers skill spreads damage across multiple enemies, and the execution hit (less than 20% HP) helps finish off stragglers. She works well in mob-heavy stages, where her random targeting still guarantees value. Against bosses, her Fainted debuff is less reliable, so she is more of a secondary DPS.

Passive Defense

Her Mom and Dad's Love skill makes her durable when under 50% HP, cutting incoming damage by up to 40%. This means she can potentially bait enemy bursts. If she survives the first hit, she becomes much harder to finish off. Pair her with healers or shields to keep her around mid-HP for maximum passive value.

Scaling Damage Dealer

Her Witch of Mourning Flowers skill gives her permanent ATK and Crit DMG boost (up to 40%). Combined with her weapon's passive effect (ATK, ACC, Debuff ACC), she scales into the late game as a consistent damage threat. However, her boost gets outsped by units who had both ATK and SPD boosts, making it hard for her to get into the late-game consistent damage she's supposed to scale in.

Flowers for mourning the deceased have become a Curse that also mourn the living. Natasha deals 3 physical attacks equal to 550% of her ATK to enemies at random. The flowers seek out the living, twining around their bodies to consume them. If a target’s STR is lower than Natasha’s STR, this skill has a 50% chance to inflict ［Fainted］on that target for 1 turn.
Level 2 Unlocks by level 81
The physical attacks’ damage becomes equal to 595% of her ATK.
Level 3 Unlocks by level 161
The number of physical attacks becomes 5.

Natasha believes that if the world was filled with a bunch of pretty flowers, everyone will be happy. So, she starts to cover the land with them. Deals 1 physical attack equal to 510% of her ATK to 3 random enemies.
Level 2 Unlocks by level 21
Additionally, if a target’s remaining HP percentage is below 20%, deals 1 direct attack equal to 340% of Natasha’s STR to that target.
Level 3 Unlocks by level 101
The targets of this skill become 5 random enemies.
Level 4 Unlocks by level 181
The physical attack’s damage becomes equal to 530% of her ATK.
